Genealogical research requires an extraordinary number of hours and is far beyond the efforts of any one person.  I have only compiled and edited the research done by many others listed here.  There are many people and my memory is short.  If I have neglected to include anyone, my humblest apologies.

Guy Sheib - who researched and compiled many family genealogies in the Lykens and Gratz areas.

Laura (Coleman)  Haas Willier - who did much of the research for all the Coleman Reunion books and continues to actively research our family history.

Shirley (Coleman) Smith, Pam Austin, and Judy Dardzinski  - who compiled edited and proofed the Reunion booklets.  This is an incredible amount of labor.

Everyone who contributed photos, stories, and memorabilia - Eva Beury, Elva and Morris Huntzinger, Thomas Coleman, Mary Gongloff, Mary Koppenhaver, Chester Otto, Ruth Cochios, Craig Coleman, Annabelle Coleman, Peggy Wolfgang, Vera Coleman, Violet Artz, Ray Coleman, Roy Coleman, Bill Dietrich, Myrtle Steever,  Kaye Henry, Minerva Tyson, Kenneth and Christine Heiser, Chester Coleman, Leroy Schwalm, Marlin and Rose Frye.

Join our mailing list for exciting information about doings in the Coleman family.  Send an email to Randall L. Smith via the link at the bottom of this page.  Be sure to include your Name, Address, City, State, and Zip Code.  Please indicate if we should send email to you instead of Postal Mail.  This is cheaper than sending Postal Mail.  We only send mailings about every 6 months.  There is no charge to join our mailing list.  Our costs are defrayed by blind auctions of memorabilia and donations.

I am a privacy advocate:  We do not distribute your information in any way outside our group.

Contributions to our common family history are always appreciated.  I can scan and print photos and pictures.  I have software that allows me to "fix" photos and correct cracks, fading and other age problems.  If you have photos, historical documents, or other information that can be copied, please send me ">e-mail.

If you have photos you would like to share with other members of the Coleman Family, please visit the Photo Album.  You can upload photos directly to the gallery and view photos others have uploaded.

I have many photos of our common family ancestors.  At present, only a few of these are in the Photo Archive.  I will be adding more as time permits, but this is a labor intensive task.

This web site is dedicated to the history of the Coleman and related families that settled in the Gratz and Lykens area of central Pennsylvania.  These ancestors are humbly remembered.
