2001 Coleman Reunion
The 1999 Coleman Reunion was a great success. We met 20 new COUSINS from the Frederick Coleman line. Everyone seemed to enjoy the "Coleman History Tour". We anticipate meeting more new COUSINS this year from the Peter Coleman line.
Pot-Luck Luncheon
The reunion committee will provide the main course and a reunion cake. We are asking that each family should bring a favorite dish or two to share (i.e. pasta, potato, fruit and other salads, deviled eggs, chips, pretzels, chow-chow, pickles, etc.). There will be a stove and refrigerator available. Each family should bring any cold drinks for your family. Ice, table service, and hot drinks also will be provided. Registration will be at 11:30 a.m. and dinner will be at noon.
1999 Reunion Survey Results
We did not receive too many responses to our reunion survey. The results included a need for more time for mingling, greeting and enjoying fellowship with our family and introduction of new attendees; continuation of the Family History Booklets; updating Coleman Family Listing of Names/Branches; displaying picture albums; trips/tours to Coleman Church and homesteads; silent auction and Coleman Memorabilia (assuming items become available). All who responded indicated they like the location. Our only problem is if we outgrow the size of the Community Building, then we must choose another location or perhaps change the date to July or August when the weather may be better.
